Set-Up
- Introduction of siblings, Ali and Zahra
- Ali lost her sister’s shoes
- Zahra covers up Ali’s mistake from their parents
Confrontation/Rising Action
- Ali had to lend his shoes to Zahra
- Zahra has to run as fast as she can after class to her return her brother’s shoes to him, so that he can go straight to his class
- Ali discovers a race competition in his school with the prize of new sneakers
Resolution
- Ali joins the race competition
- Ali strives hard to win specifically the third place so he’ll get the sneakers,
- But ironically, he ends up winning first place
